Fenwick Ave. Facing a budget crisis, the Portland Public School Board closed Kenton last year, leav ing an empty shell and a ques tionable future. But last week, the private school agreed to a 20-year lease with the district, and beginning early next year will expand their enrollment from 220 to .300 at the 2.3- elassroom Kenton site. De La Salle also plans to construct a gymnasium and chapel on the site.
